A few words from Platform Pal, Weightlifting Comrade, and Arbiter of Fine Taste, Penn:

I’m wearing a Blue Suede Belt and a 50/50 Cotton/Poly t-shirt by John Inzer, grey mesh gym shorts and acid green Romaleos Weightlifting Shoes by Nike, black ankle socks by Starter, and wrist, knee, and forearm wraps by Ano Turtiainen.

The Pendlay 20 kilogram men’s bushing bar I’m Behind the Neck Push-Pressing from a Nautilus brand power rack is loaded with 2 pairs of Pendlay 15 kilogram bumper plates and 1 pair of Eleiko 10 kilogram bumper plates, for a total of 100 kilograms – not including the negligible weight of the spring collars (brand unknown but probably something totally shit). I do this lift as part of my evening routine. Obviously, I can now do 10.

I’ve been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn’t understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. This is Sussudio, a great, great song, a personal favorite.
